SEO and AI Search Agency for Small & Medium Businesses

Rankings compound. We fix what is holding your site back, then build the pages that earn positions you do not have to buy again every time someone clicks, in Google and in the AI answers that now sit above it. Melbourne based for two decades, working with businesses across Australia.

What are the different parts of SEO and AI Search we work on?

A member of the team working through search data on a laptop

Content strategy

The pages you do not have yet. We map what your buyers search, then write and structure the pages that answer it better than whatever is ranking now, and plainly enough that an AI answer can quote them.

Keyword mappingPage briefsAI answers
Hands on a laptop keyboard during a site audit

Technical SEO

Crawling, indexing, speed and structured data, which is also what decides whether an AI engine can read you at all. This is where most sites lose before they start.

Backlinking, mentions and citations

Links are the backbone, and the mentions and citations alongside them are what an AI answer weighs when it decides who to name. Earned, not bought, and kept looking natural.

Whichever of those sounds like you, the first step is the same. We look at your marketing performance together: what is bringing in enquiries, what is wasting money, and what we would change first.

  • We go through your site and your rankings with you, not at you.
  • You get our read on the one thing to change first.
  • Yours to keep, whether you work with us or not.

What does a complete SEO programme include?

Our SEO covers far more than keyword research, copywriting and performance reports. Not every engagement uses all nine. The audit decides the order, and we would rather do four of them properly than bill you for all nine.

AI Search and GEO

The answer above the blue link. Generative engine optimisation is the work that gets you named inside an AI answer rather than listed under it: entities Google can resolve, schema an engine can read, and pages that answer the question in the first sentence.

EntitiesSchemaAnswer-first pages

Technical SEO

It runs deeper than on-page. We find what is holding the site back and implement the fixes rather than listing them, with site migration included, where most agencies skip it and a bad job costs you everything at once.

On-page SEO

Optimised every month, not once at setup. From a single page to a full cluster architecture.

Keyword mapping

Consistent research, not a one-off list. We surface content angles and audiences you have not considered.

Search demandIntent mappingContent angles

SEO copywriting and blogs

Content that answers the searcher directly and still sounds like your brand. Monthly blogs on an editorial calendar, written for research intent and linked back into the pages that sell.

Link building

The backbone of SEO, in the right hands. We earn links that look natural and disavow the toxic ones, a process that has had Google lift live penalties off sites we have taken on.

Local SEO

Website speed

Faster for Google and for buyers. Assets, caching and render path, until the page stops costing you conversions.

SEO hosting

A small factor that still affects trust and response time. Dedicated SEO hosting takes it off the list.

Every package includes

The same six things, whatever the scope of the work is.

A team on your account

Technical, content and outreach specialists on one plan, coordinating with each other and with you, rather than an account manager relaying messages.

Clear reporting

Monthly reports you can read in two minutes, split by location, plus a call to walk through them.

Conversion tracking

Calls and enquiry forms tracked per location, so every number in the report means something.

Google Business Profiles

Every profile managed alongside the site, because that is where local enquiry starts.

Rank tracking by area

Keyword positions tracked per location, so you can see which suburbs are moving and which need work.

No hidden extras

Content, technical fixes, schema and links all sit inside the monthly fee. Nothing quoted separately mid programme.

Questions people ask before starting SEO

If yours is not here, ask it on the call. We would rather answer it before you commit to anything than after.

How long before SEO does anything?

Technical fixes can move things in weeks. New pages ranking for anything competitive is three to six months, and the compounding happens after that. Anyone promising page one in a month is either bidding on your brand name or about to get you penalised.

What does SEO cost?

SEO is quoted on the work involved rather than a flat retainer, because a five-page trade site and a thousand-SKU store are not the same job. The audit tells us the scope, and the quote comes with the reasoning attached.

How long do I need to commit to?

We recommend six to nine months. SEO needs runway: the technical work and the first content go in early and the compounding happens after that, so a three-month test tells you very little. Best practice also keeps moving, which is why we refine the campaign rather than setting it and forgetting it, and plenty of the businesses we work with have been with us five years or more. We will say honestly if your budget and timeline do not add up before you sign anything.

Who actually does the work?

The team you meet on the call, plus the technical, content and outreach specialists they bring in, all coordinating with each other and with you. There is no handover to a junior after you sign, and nothing is offshored to a content mill.

Do I own the work if I leave?

Yes. Your site, your analytics, your Google Business Profile, your content, your links. We work in your accounts, not ours, and we hand over everything.

Should I be doing SEO or Google Ads?

Usually both, in that order of patience. Ads buy you enquiries this week; SEO builds the traffic you are not paying for next year. If you can only run one, we will tell you which on the call.
